265km further towards our destination and IKEA saves the day again.
When we arrived here at first however the car and charge point would not talk to each other. So I searched for help in the store (no one knew anything about the charge point) until they finally advised Pierre to come and give a hand:
All it needed was a reboot, the classic IT solution for all computer ails, et voila! Charging at 22kW+ (130km per hour in ideal circumstances).
Pierre also explained that they have solar panels and are installing more soon, plus solar hot water and IKEA sponsored wind farms in the country.
All that and free wifi make IKEA a great place to stop when on tour.
Now we need to get a full charge in order to make it down to Bordeaux where our good friend and Drive & Dream colleague Ricardo Fraguas has confirmed that they have our red 32A three-phase socket is ready and waiting.
I love having things organized on these trips frankly.
