We arrived about an hour ago at the Pullman Bordeaux Aquitania after this 350km leg from Tours to here. We used the on screen range projections compared to the GPS route range in order to go as fast as possible while keeping a 30km buffer at arrival. We were able to drive at 110km/h and 120km/h for most of the trip.
Before plugging in I am getting into the habit of checking the pins with the multimeter and this time everything worked the first time.
According to the on screen estimate it will recover 100% of charge by around 6am so we should be able to kick off early tomorrow for our hike up the mountains 600m (2000′) to Argomaniz, and then to 1400m (5000′) to the Puerto de Somosierra before dropping down to Madrid.
For others following in our tracks be aware that they socket is not permanent and they will need to set it up in advance (a few days notice is best).
And we have now passed the half way mark. Tomorrow Spain.
